Cam 

This professional camera, with integrated webserver and GSM module, is installed on a custom-made, shielded and earthed box on a board at the front of the locomotive. The electric power supply is fed by a transformer connected to the locomotive power system. The cam takes images of the railroad tracks on an interval of 10 minutes. Pictures are sent by the internal webserver via Swisscom GSM network directly to the traincam webserver and get published immediately on this website.
